Rogers has just launched a brand new Xperia handset from Sony Ericsson, the Mini Pro. The Mini Pro features a 3" (320x480) touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, along with a 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p video capture. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, and offers connectivity options including Wi-Fi (b/g/n, hotspot), bluetooth, and GPS, and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. While this may not be the most impressive smartphone released recently, its small form factor and physical keyboard may make it worth considering, especially for those looking for an affordable handset. The Xperia Mini Pro is available now from Rogers for $49.99 on a 3 year term, or just $274.99 contract-free.
