As expected, the Motorola Backflip was officially launched by Telus today. The Backflip features MOTOBLUR, which is a content delivery service that syncs contacts, messages, photos, etc from social networking and e-mail websites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Gmail.
The newest addition to Telus' line-up features a 3.1" (320 x 480) touch screen, slide out QWERTY keyboard, and a 5MP camera. It supports HSPA, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and comes with 512MB internal memory. Additionally, it is expandable up to 32GB via microSD, and runs Android OS 1.5.
The Motorola Backflip is available now through Telus, costing $249.99 on a 3 year term, or $399.99 contract-free.
